Phoenix May Day Workers’ Potluck

It’s high time that organized labor in Arizona celebrate May Day, International Workers’ Day, a worldwide tradition that traces its origins to the United States. Not a wheel turns, not a light bulb shines, and not a telephone rings without the kind permission of the working class!

Workers of all genders, races, ethnicities, and nationalities have the same essential interests—the right to a secure, full-time job at a living wage, an end to anti-union laws, equal pay for work of equal value, a dignified quality of life, etc.

Please join us for a workers’ picnic and potluck. Our primary goal is to bring organized labor and its supporters in the Phoenix area together. We plan to have outdoor yard games and music, and a raffle to support local labor struggles. There will also be speeches from coalition partners.

Workers of the world, unite!
