The Working Class vs. the Democratic Party

The working class and the ruling class are clearly not “all in this together.” Join the Marx Was Right Forum for a discussion to find out the reasons for this!

While the Democrats have controlled the House, the Senate, and the Presidency, they have broken multiple promises and left multiple issues unresolved within the first 60 days. Even though a $1.9 trillion relief bill has been passed, less funds are going out to fewer workers. Because of an unelected official in Congress, who the Democrats chose not to overrule, millions of workers will continue to make less than $15/hour (which in 2021 isn’t a living wage). To top it off, not only are the concentration camps at the border still open, in early March the number of unaccompanied migrant children being detained “nearly tripled”. Despite posturing themselves as “progressive,” the Democratic Party is the left boot of capitalism, and its class character prevents it from being otherwise.
