56 years ago, the Democratic National Convention in Chicago was the scene of chaos and mayhem, as the full force of the state was employed against antiwar protestors. These events had a profound impact on consciousness. With the 2024 DNC around the corner and the continued slaughter in Gaza, the DNC might once again be a flash point in the political radicalization of a generation.
